Abbas Athar's Description in Unconventional Poetry
Abstract
The Urdu poetic era of 1960 is distinguished due to revolutionary changes, where many waves of poetical variedness diversify the prospect of Urdu poetry. The movement of '' New Poetry'' demanded the new lexicon and style of writing for its poetic declaration so the destruction of determined traditional standers was presupposed and the ''New Poets'' did it.'' New Poets'' wanted to express their art in a quite new and unconventional way, so they set the example of the unadorned style of writing with their poems. Abbas Athar is a popular poet of new poetic guise, his poetry is a quip against the traditional poetic declaration. His poems demonstrate a special philosophy about humans and society. Man's intricacies, labyrinths, accidents, violence, and exertion for his eternity manifested by him most weirdly. The focus point of his poems is the man & society, where he focused upon man's puzzled and society’s perplexity. In his poems he criticized & sneer on the dogma of society, his poetry is a chirography of unconventional poetic disclosure which exposes the new doors of poetic modification.
